Blog goals for beginners and my first month blogging goals.

Spread the love

My biggest goal ever is to start a blog. It has been my dream to start a blog one day. As a new blogger I will be following these blog goals for beginners for my first month blogging.

I have come up with these blog goals for beginners to keep me focused on my blog. I also want to set  first year blogging goals for my blog journey.

Just starting your own blog feels amazing, everything about blogging excites me, coming up with a name for my blog(her Blog Journal), Setting up my website, writing that first blog post, and publishing, it feels like a dream come true.

If you are a beginner in blogger or want to start a successful blog, setting blog goals can be very helpful as a beginner.

Why start a blog?

Blogging is not all about fun, you have to stay committed to see success as a blogger. In the first month blogging, you have to research a lot of areas like blog content ideas, blog planning and so

As a stay at home mom I always searched for flexible work from home jobs for stay at home moms and then I chose blogging. I researched a lot about blogging and ways to make money from blog, before I started my own blog(her blog journal).

The only thing that I regret about blogging is that I should have started it sooner but that’s fine because I am here starting my own blog and sharing what I love ๐Ÿ™‚

Blogging is a very profitable business if done right. There are many bloggers who earn around $1000 /month or more and there are few bloggers who earn six figures a month.

Blogging is one of the businesses that you can start with just $ 2.95 a month.

Being a stay at home mom with a one year old kid, I always wanted a job where I can work on my own time and schedule, without leaving my son, and a work from home job that pays well.

As a beginner blogger, you will have to spend time on your blog figuring out things.

Everything you learn as a newbie blogger can be overwhelming like plugins, WordPress, themes, and so on but it’s all worth it.

But once you figure it out, things are gonna be easy for you and you can build a successful blog.

I wanted to record my blogging journey as a beginner blogger and share all the things that I face as a new blogger with you guys. So that you can learn from my experience and mistakes.

The main thing you have to keep in mind when setting a blog goal is to write down your first year blog goals because blog planning is very important.

My first month blogging goals for my blog

Setting goals is the key to keeping you moving forward and reaching success.

If you are a beginner blogger or an experienced blogger setting goals will help you focus on your path and help you reach your goal.

For my first month goals, I would like to keep my expectations minimum as there is a lot to learn as a beginner. These blog goals for beginners will give me a clear idea of what I have to achieve in my first month of bogging.

how I set blog goals for beginners as a beginner blogger

First month blogging Goals:

1. Get Bluehost

This should be at the top of the list for setting blog goals for beginners. I have already purchased the Bluehost hosting plan for just $2.95/month which is the only amount I spent for starting a blog.

As this hosting service was recommended by many successful bloggers and I am very happy with my purchase.

Buying a paid hosting will help monetizing and make money from your blog. which is why it is very important not to start a blog on a free platform.

you don’t own any of your content when you start a blog on a free platform. Bluehost is the best the hosting for beginner bloggers. If you want to start a blog, I would highly recommend you to purchase Bluehost for hosting your blog.

2. Setup my blog theme

Setting up my WordPress theme took me a lot of time as there are a lot of learning curves. There are many useful plugins that I installed in my WordPress.

I don’t want to spend extra money on the theme, so I just went with the free WordPress theme but will definitely purchase a premium theme for my blog

3. Write and publish 10 blog post

As of now I only have 3 blog posts in my blog including this one. I have researched a lot of blog topics for beginners and have quite a few blog content ideas for this month.

One of the biggest mistakes that I made is not writing enough blog posts before the blog launch.

My first blog post took me 2 days and my second blog post took me around a week to publish it.

But I wrote this blog post in just one day as I am becoming very familiar with how to write blog posts and what blog posts to write as a beginner blogger.

4. Increase my blog page views to 1000

My page now is very low, not even close to my goal. This is because I haven’t posted many blog posts on my blog.

I had only 2 blog posts at the beginning of my first month on my blog. This is the reason for low pageviews.

I have been researching blog post topics for beginners and I’ve come up with many ideas to write about. That is why I have set my goal as 1000 pageviews for my first month blogging.

5. How much money I want to make in the first month of blogging?

I am not going to pressure myself with the income for the first month. Just this month.

I definitely want to earn money from my blog but in the first month blogging, I would like to learn more about the blogging process and promoting my blog.

It’s because I haven’t applied to any ad network yet but I will be sharing 1 or 2 affiliate products that I am currently using for my blog.

I don’t use a lot of resources now and I don’t want to promote something that I personally don’t use or believe in.

I have read many posts on how I made money my first month blogging and first month blog income report. I am eagerly waiting for my first month blog income report!

Will wait and see how much I can make this month. Even if my first month blog income is $10 or $100 I will be very happy.

I have read lots of blog income reports, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to start a blog.

Hopefully, I will publish a post on how I made money my first month of blogging with a first month blog income report at the end of this month with some amazing numbers.

Fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž.

6. Achieve 2000 Pinterest monthly pageviews

I currently have only 463 monthly pageviews with only 5 pins on my Pinterest account which is considerably low.

I will be focusing on pinning a lot of quality content on Pinterest to increase my Pinterest monthly pageviews.

Pinterest is a great social media platform to increase your blog traffic for free and I will be promoting my blog only on Pinterest for now.

There are a few strategies that I will be focusing on to increase pageviews on Pinterest and see what works and what doesn’t work for me.

7. Grow Pinterest followers to 200 (currently 45)

I currently have 45 followers on Pinterest. I don’t have any strategy to grow my Pinterest followers but still I am aiming for 200 Pinterest followers for this month.

It would be nice if you help me achieve my goal by following me ๐Ÿ™‚

8. Become a member of 20 Pinterest group boards

Currently, I am not in any Pinterest group boards but I will be applying for 50+ pinterest group boards so that I have a chance of getting accepted in at least 20 group boards on pinterest.

I have read that Pinterest group boards can help you with growing blog traffic and increase pageviews on Pinterest.

This should help me with achieving my goals for pageviews and pinterest monthly views.

9. Get accepted in affiliate programs.

I can’t make money through ads in my blog as I have not yet applied to any ad networks. I will focus on that once I get a decent amount of blog traffic.

So for now I have to join a few affiliate programs for blog income.
